INBOUND & OUTBOUND MARKETING

During the first part of this semester, we talked about a lot of topics and characteristics of communication, and there is one topic that has caught our attention.

When you want to communicate something is important decide what type of marketing you will do, and these two types are inbound and outbound marketing. Firstly, it is said that inbound marketing is ‘’better’’, and this is because this type of marketing tries to attract the possible consumers with not intrusive tools. With this type of communication, the customer doesn’t feel saturated and has a better image about the company.

The way to do a good inbound marketing could be by creating blogs. With this tool, people feel more participative and this is good for showing a better image of the company. Another tool is by using social media to promote and to make people know about you.  If we talk about outbound marketing, we can see that is the opposite of inbound. With this type of communication, the customer feels ‘’attacked’’ and not comfortable, this is because outbound wants to pursue the possible consumer to make him buy the product that the company is selling. The tools to do outbound marketing could be the famous ‘’cold calling’’, telemarketing, a lot of emails…

After seeing what is inbound and outbound marketing, we can see which is more usable and has better results. Inbound marketing could be the better choice for your company if you want to make people feel comfortable.
